Where to mount speed bleeder
Ok everyone, I got my Monster stg3 in the mail along with Ticks speed bleeder. I like to flush my hydraulics bringing new fluid into slave instead of just using a mity vac to pull air
Where are you guys mounting this for a clean/ easy bleed? Are you bleeding fluid into a jug or are you just bleeding for air removal??

I pulled mine parallel to the lines feeding the fluid reservoir in the engine compartment and have it zip tied there. Its been real handy as it seems I have a hydraulic leak. To get the air out and get back on the road, I just open it up and bleed in to the reservoir. The air comes out, I re-use the fluid, and I hit the road with no mess.

Are you guys recovering old dirty fluid from the remote bleeder up in the engine bay? No sense in bleeding just for air if there is dirty fluid in there also. I like to bleed the system after each event just to keep fluid fresh.
I have a hole in the trans tunnel for bleeding from slave now. Just wanted to add the remote bleeder to keep fluid out of the bell housing.

i ran mine under the heat sheilds for the fuel lines back to just under the drivers side and its just long enough to tuck back into the frame rail bleeds right there and you can pump the pedal and see everything. even has an empty slot in the plastic fuel line supports to snap in!

I ran mine under the heat shield right next to the tranny so it'd be away from the headers, then routed it up along side the master and next to the reservoir. That way I can use the mity and still see how much fluid needs to be added or pump the pedals and watch the hoses from the gap while the hood is up.
