Default shifter boot

Does any one know where I can get a shift boot for my car? I'm doing a t56 swap and just got my Pro 5.0 shifter today. I have the console shifter boot and the #6 boot, but I need the stock one that covers the actual shifter mechanism. The instructions from the Pro 5.0 says to re-use the stock shifter cover, but open up the hole to fit the Pro 5.0. Any ideas where to get a used one or a part number?

This is a quick pic of the boot I'm looking for.

I know Summit sells these for Hurst shifters. Not sure about the Pro.

Call Hurst Shifters.
See if they service the cover/boot for the 391-5060 shifter separately.

I don't think you can buy the #6 boot anymore. When I installed my pro 5.0 I was told to cut it, and then regretted it due to the noise, but you can't buy them anywhere. Your best bet is to ask someone who is parting out an m6 car on here.

I didn't have a boot on my Pro 5.0 nor does it require on. What the instructions are referring to is the #6 boot.

You're right, I looked at the instructions again. They want you to cut off half the ridges on the #6 boot and have the round part of the base sticking through the boot. Will the Pro 5.0 shifter work if I don't cut a hole in the #6 boot? My only concern is dust and other airborn crap getting into the shifter mechanism.

I cut mine so not sure if it will work or not. I didn't like the Pro 5.0 and went back to my stock hurst. I had a lot of noise come up through the shifter after I made the switch back due to the cut boot.
