Default In need of a cluster gear bearing

EDIT

Found the shaft new for ~220, so i bought it.

I do however need the big bearing on the shaft. If anyone can give me a part # that i could get a bearing, I'd appreciate it. (i know they only sell the complete kit at the t56 shops)

Are you talking the front or rear cluster bearing? LM48458 is the front. I'm not sure what the "big" bearing is? Or are you changing subjects and asking about the mainshft now?

No, I'm speaking about the larger of the two bearings on the cluster. (they are different, correct? I'll post a picture of it later. Thanks for the reply though.

Just so its clear to anyone searching this, the part number is

LM48548

NOT the above mentioned, which the 5 and the 4 are switched, simple typo.

HUGE thanks, none the less to 85MikeTPI

It looks like you already have it figured out, but for others reading this thread we are constantly adding each and every individual item found in a t-56 to our new website. Here is the bearing you were looking for for example: http://www.tickperformance.com/treme...-bearing-race/

Each individual part has links to an exploded diagram and the parts number and description. Transmission parts are listed under specific vehicles to narrow your search down, or you can search the individual number of the component you need from the exploded diagram.

Some of the tapered bearings like you need may be a bit cheaper from a local parts house, but many other bearings will not be readily available locally.

Sweet. I actually just placed an order with you guys about 30 minutes ago for the rest of my stuff. I didn't know you had the bearings, or i would have gotten it from you. Napa had it though.

Side note - got any sweet decals you could throw in?
