Rxt twin for 800-900rwhp?
Im searcing for a clutch to my project. I have a tremec t56 magnum and an lm7 5,3l that will be boosted. My goal is 700rwhp or more that will be used for allround street/drag/track/drift.
The reason I wonder if it would hold for 800~900rwhp is for a little safety.
The car is not so heavy around 2600~2700lb
I wonder if the McLeod rxt would do the job fine?

I have the original twin it can be upgraded. I ran mine to a little over 900 rwhp on the dyno and it slipped. Put it on the street same thing and got worse. (I had to try it) Called McLeod and got it upgraded. It's good for another 500 more horse now. But now the pedal is heavy. Before this pedal pressure was very normal feeling.

My buddy runs one on a turbo LS3 RX-7 and made around 950rwhp.... it held the power simply because the car is so light I'm guessing.
On another turbo LS7 RX-7 around the 1000rwhp mark the clutch was slipping.
McLeod made him a custom triple disc clutch based off the RXT.
I'd say in a light car around 900rwhp should be about the limit.
If you need something stronger McLeod does make the street twin which is rated to around 1200hp. The pedal pressure is a lot firmer and it is much more on/off as far as how grabby it is.
