how do I tell the difference between a monster stage I and a stage II? Is the pressure plate different or the disc or both? can anyone tell if its a stage I or II in the picture.

Hey John, take a look at my thread.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tr...different.html

Apparently Monster changed the friction design a bunch of times on the stage 2 (Possible for the other ones as well). When did you buy that clutch?

I did contact them and Chris said its a stage II. I like to know what makes a stage II different from a stage I? Is the pressure plate different or just the disc or both? what stage is the one below?

if they dont all look the same how the hell can you tell the difference? then they can easily send you a stage1 when you ordered a stage 2 or 3..

That is an older Level 2 disc, the pressure plates are all the same on the Level 1-4 Monsters...the discs are not ie carbon/organic, kevlar, ceramic and sintered iron.

That is a older Level 2 as wel just worn, the Level 1 picture on the website is correct and shows the carbon/organic disc.
