It sounds like it,it should be air tight if its closed.I didnt use my speed bleeder at all when i got my clutch package, tick master and the slave that came with my monster clutch bleed the old fashion way in about 15min. lose the bleeder, just my opinion.

My main problem is if i want to go to the old fashion way i need to remove the tranny to remove the speed bleeder line so i am thinking my bleeder is bad guz when tight fluid will still come out when i press the peddle is it as simple as getting a replacement bleeder end or remove the tranny again to take the speed bleeder off and do the old fashion bleeding

All you should have to do is change the end of it. It should be a plain old bleeder screw. Take it to your local parts house and try that before pulling the tranny.

Having a speed bleeder is so nice to have. I can literally bleed the system by myself. All I do is fill the reservoir and a cup and crack the bleeder and submerge it in the cup of hydraulic fluid. And if it is long enough you can set the cup near the cowl and watch to see if any air or debris comes out. When i changed my slave Friday nite i did this exact thing and it worked out perfect.

If you have a Pep Boys near you, they sell speed bleeders that will fit perfectly.
