4th gear synchro ring is worn or sticking, might check your fluid level and condition

this... if its multiple gears then its most likely hydraulic problems however if its just one gear its probably a synchro. try a fluid change first

I'd recommend swapping the fluid in both the transmission(Dex3) and the hydraulics(Dot4), report back on how that helps. Curious how much power it makes?

To check synchros you can start the car and while its in neutral try to push the shifter into gear without the clutch (make sure you have your foot on the brake) if it won't go in its good, if it tries to go into gear or starts to grind the synchro is either bad or going bad.
