Start by looking at just that, where the master cylinder hooks to the pedal.

If it's still attached, let us know.

yeah I took my truck back from my son today and he was going to look at it. I was hoping that it would be simple but if the slave popped I know what were doing after work one night

Dang man!

More than likely it's the slave, double check the fitting that attaches to the slave to make sure that it's completely pushed in.

Keep us posted!

Man that's no good.

If the pilot bearing is destroyed I'd have the input shaft looked at. Also, look at the condition of the disc. It'll shake the hub apart if the input shaft wasn't being supported.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

OK new parts are on the way- disc, slave and pilot bearing since the slave exploded and all fluid has dripped out should I try to fill slave as much as possible through the bleeder, top of master cyl reconnect and bleed as usual?

PS. I have already drilled a hole in floor so I can easily access bleeder VS. doing it blindly like last time
