Is it possible it is slightly over shimmed?

I installed it just how it said to and the clutch works great when it works with 0 issues. I let it cool bout 45 min in between runs. Is it possible it's getting to hot and causing it to slip. I ran last weekend making 4 6 sec 1/8 passes and done great and went last night and 2nd pass it slipped and chattered a little. Made 2 hits on street this morning and it done fine.

Very possible. You reminded me of another thread where a similar issue was fixed by pulling the dust covers off and venting the bellhousing.
I just did mine but more to prevent dust build up.

I just drove it and it was barely chattering coming off clutch in 1st. Dumped it bout 4k it slipped and let off. Drove it couple miles it quit chattering then launched at 4 again and felt good. I believe it's just getting hot and glazing the flywheel a little. Or what do you think

Did you personally do the installation?
If yes, did you use blue Loctite on the pressure plate bolts?
Had the same situation when I purchased my LS1 M6. Normal driving, no slip. Run a high rpm shift from 1st to 2nd, and it slipped like crazy until one day boom, I find a pressure plate bolt sticking out of the bell housing.
Pulled the transmission, find 4 of the remaining 5 bolts hand tight, and only the 5th still holding its torque. None had any thread locker on them and even the pressure plate cracked and deformed. Previous owner had installed an OEM clutch and flywheel before I purchased the car from him and whoever did the installation did not use thread locker.

Its worth a check but i dont really think thats the answer. The pressure plate bolts arent sealed from the factory and arp even states to not use lock tite on them. In any case if the bolt is properly torqued and stretched you shouldnt need locktite. I would still use it but i dont think thats the problem as long as the bolts were torqued correctly
