Talking Textralia Arrived... PICS & Questions

This thing looks pretty nice. No major appearence issues. No dings, dents, flaws. I cant wait to install it. I might start tomarrow. In the box there was a small SKF box, which usually implies there is a bearing in the box. The box was empty and smashed up though. Was there supposed to be a bearing in it perhaps? There is a small bag that has a Timken torrington bearing in it. How many bearings should I have gotten? Do I need a new throwout bearing for the install?

I also go an Energy Suspension tranny mount, torque arm bushing, and some Red Line ATF for the install.

This is the box I was talking about....

Whats for the pilot bearing that goes into the crank? The Timken bearing or the missing SKF bearing?

You have everything you need. Except the pilot bearing. The SKF box. I guess you dont shim this clutch either?

The pics show everything I got, except for the Timken bearing. The SKF bearing most likely fell out in transit, there was a hole in the bottom of the box. I didnt get any shims either, I hope I dont need them.

Looks pretty good. The clutch plate is very similar to the Spec stg.3 with the exception that it is cut out versus being circular. As for the Pressure Plates, it's tough to tell the difference between the few companies that are offering these kits. IMO, they look no better than a stock Z06 PP. :dunno:

Are you sure the timken bearing isn't the pilot bearing? Mine came in a bag inside that box.

My TOB came installed already on the slave too. But my pilot came in the little blue box that you have there.

Good luck with the clutch and install. Mine's been good to me thus far (a whole 70 miles).
