1.4X 60' guys. What clutch, RPS, Aussie, Mcleod twin?
Well i am getting the car ready for next season. I really want a clutch that will stand up to me spraying 100 shot out of the hole cutting mid 1.44-1.47 60' times on a 28" tire and want to be running bottom tens @ low 130's by next season in my daily driver.
What clutch are you guys using to stand up to this abuse? My spec 3i **** itself just daily driving with two trips to the track (on radials no less).
I need a clutch i can daily drive (about 8,000 miles a year city) and will have probably 40-50 passes on it next season.
My 3 options i'm looking at.
1. RPS clutch-Andy at A and A highly reccommended it even over the aussie. Said he had one in his car and was just as strong as the Aussie but lighter pedal.
2. Aussie clutch-Andy also has one in stock and it comes with the slave cylinder. About 150 bucks cheaper and same warranty pretty much. A little tougher pedal feel
3. Mcleod twin-Seen a lot of happy people w/ this clutch in drag cars, but seen about 15 different horror stories from searching through daily drivers. S0 let me know what you guys think.

Mcleod twin disk, master and 01 and up slave now have 1000 miles on it all daily driven In traffic and highway. I sit in Tacoma Narrows bridge traffic daily. Anyway I am very happy with it. Once you get you used to engagement it is a very nice unit, It is way near the top and it is engaged or disengaged not in between. Pedal pressure is more than stock, but you are driving a car that you want under 1.70 60' times. So you have to give a little, at times there is a bit of clutch chater under 1500 rpm but not bad, it was the perfect compliment to my 12 bolt. I wouldn't get any other one. That car launches so Bad A** now and power shifting is UNBELIEVABLE. BOOM, BOOM BOOM leaving patches(big ones) all the way through 4th!

Don't daily drive but weekend cruise
Ram vds 910 1.39 60 foot and she's slipping on the launch. My car is heavy though.3451
I would also like to know what is a better clutch if any.

i have a spec stg. 4, i have about 150 passes with 6500+rpm launches and about 4-5 thousand hard street miles on it, i just looked at it the other day when i put the new sfi belhousing on and it may have another 50 or more passes on it before it starts slipping, hard to say but im getting another one, its been a great clutch
