Default Clutch alignment????? (CarTek)

Ok so I am out looking for an alignment tool, but noone seems to have one for a 2000 T/A. The only way that I can get one is if I buy the complete clutch kit. Called cartek and they told me that I should just buy the universal and use that. Everyone who has installed a CarTek clutch what did you use for the alignment? Please help... Michael

Ask for a LT1 tool, it is the same. I got mine from Pep boys for about $2

You could just go to auto zone and get a clutch alignment tool there, it has 8-10 different size ends that screw on and it works well. It's only like 12 bucks and will work for any of your future projects

Yes the 98 tool will work. All you need is to have the right number of splines and input shaft diameter. The LS1 and LT1 are 26 spline with a 1 1/8" diameter shaft.

As Mark said, the LS1 and LT1 alignment tools are identical. I have both and use the one I can grab first.
