WS6 Store has a 6" and a 6.5". But my questions are: Which of these two to go with? Has anyone gotten the 6" and wished they got the 6.5" or vice versa? And how long is UMI's? Are any of them angled?
P.S. - Sorry to piggyback on your post, but our questions are pretty much along the same lines.

I have the UMI, and it's angled toward the driver. It works well with the stock hurst shifter.

Do you know how long it is? I'm curious because WS6 Store has two lengths.

i'd defintely go w/ the 6"...says its a 1" shorter throw...so that would mean the 6.5" is only .5" ....not enough for me personally...lol

When i ordered my ws6 store handle they never gave me an option to pic the sizes. I just measured the stick and its 6 inches in length. Heres a pic of the short handle on a hurst shifter. the Standard shifter with the standard handle is on the right

I bought the UMI, the reg. pro 5.0 tower is far too tall and the gold thread is exposed between the boot and the **** (z28 **** doesn't meet up with the boot on that stick). UMI fixed that.

I just bought a WS6 store 6 in short stick for a OEM hurst i still gotta put in. Im hoping its gonna be nice. I got the stick the other day and just put it on my stocker just for teh hell of it to try out. It's a night and day difference. It really tightens up teh shifter and the throw gets so mouch shorter. I cant wait for the new shifter + short stick.

dude if u have the hurst shifter GO WITH THE UMI its great. makes the throw 10x easier and faster and its angled perfectly toward you. UMI was my first pick and luckily enough it was exactly what i wanted!! get it you wont be dissapointed

The ones from the WS6 Store aren't angled, are they? I might be leaning toward the UMI one because of this.

I bought a WS6 store one when i bought my PRO 5.0 and it hit the console the ws6 store said if i wanted to send it back they would angle it but the pro 5.0 stick is already angled but just to tall so i cut off a good bit of the threads on it and i love it.

Our stick is not angled. It is available in the 6" and 6.5" lengths, most prefer the 6" length. The stock shaft is 8-5/8" long...so the 6" is approx 2.5" shorter whereas the 6.5" is approx 2" shorter.

The angled sticks are all a thing of personal preference. I myself have tried the angled sticks, and I dont like how they are angled...it feels funny in your hand and it looks just as funny. Ours keeps your stick straight up and down, and when installed properly, it wont hit the console.

I had the Lou's Short Stick on my factory Hurst shifter. The LSS on the Hurst made the shifter feel more solid, and shifts were faster and more precise too. Got rid of the factory Hurst because I wanted an aftermarket shifter with adjustable stops. Bought a Pro 5.0 with a Lou's Short Stick, and it's the best shifter combo that you can put in these cars in my opinion. The LSS that works on the Pro 5.0 is angled 45* towards the driver, and I really like that about it. The LSS that works with the factory Hurst wasn't angled that much from what I remember. It's all personal preference, but if I were going to keep the factory Hurst shifter then I would get the UMI stick because it's angled towards the driver.

Bought the same SS looks good but with the Pro 5.0 shifter it just doesn't look good or feel good at at all After installation. Except mine didn't hit the center console it just didn't feel good when I shifted. Got use to the angles stick that came with the Pro 5.0 shifter. Thinking of buying either a LSS or UMI SS.

I have the 6 inch Ws6 stick and its night and day for the stock shifter. i dont think half inch would make a difference. I am sure if its bolted to an aftermarket shifter it will be higher. For the 25+ or - dollars you cant beat it. i like the firmness of my short stick?? LMAO
