M6 Transmission Fluid Question
Just had new CF clutch ,flywheel and new OEM slave put in ,took about 7-8 times bleeding the frickin thing and about 500 miles of driving to seat the new clutch but its shifting wicked now even at close to redline. My question is the last week its been cold outside(like 25F) and for the first 20-25 mins of driving its a bit of a struggle shifting (especially 1st and Rev) until it warms up. They told me they added about 2 liters of new fluid when they did the install im just wondering how much of the old fluid would have been left and if this would cause the cold shifting problem. Ill probably drain it soon anyways but just curious if anyones had the problem and how they fixed it. Thanx

Are you letting your car warmup before you drive it? I always let my car warmup to almost running temp before driving it. If I dont then I sometimes have a lil trouble going between gears just b/c the tranny isnt warmed up (I believe thats what the problem is) so it just might be that. Try letting it warm up and see if you still have the same problem

I usually let it warm up for awhile and never had the shifting problem before im just not sure if the old fluid left in there with the new 2 liters they put in would be the kulprit.
