Anyone have a broken T56 input shaft?

Default Anyone have a broken T56 input shaft?

Let me know if you have a broken T56 input shaft with the splines that insert at the clutch disk.

I'd like to have it to use as a clutch install tool.

I have numerous plastic clutch install tools for the LS1/LT1. The T56 input shaft itself allows for a better fit, IMO, hence my asking for a broken T56 input shaft w/preserved splines.

There are old super T10's that use the same spline and pilot. I used to have one with a tooth broken off but threw it out.

I agree 100%. I have the plastic tool, and I have an extra input shaft. I sometimes had trouble after using the plastic tool, but NEVER had trouble sliding the tranny home after using the input shaft.

why not call t56rebuild or gearbox or one of those guys and see if they happen to have one laying around? its worth a shot.
