Default P/N for GM master cylinder rebuild kit...

I need a rebuild kit for my master cylinder BAD. I'm hoping someone out there might have a part number... Anyone?

Thanks if you can help!

I'm not absolutely certain but I think they're not rebuildable - you need to buy a complete new mc. The part number for the 01-02 (upgraded) mc is 12570277.

No rebuild kit I have ever heard of for the stock master. The McLeod / CNC master is rebuildable since they need it from time to time.

You could do it, but would need to source the o-rings to do it. The piston is held down with an inner snap ring.

Since I believe the stock 01 master is same i.d. as the McLeod, their rebuild kit may partially fit the OEM master, but I have not tried this.

This might get me somewhere! I messed up the pluger seals when making my master adjustable.

I'll have to stop by TR and check out one of those rebuild kits.

The bore is differnet on the Mcleod master. I believe the stocker is a 3/4 & the Mcleod is a 13/16. The parts are not compatable anyway.

Jason99ta hooked me up with a spare master that i was able to pull the seals out of. So, I think I'm back on track. I'll know tomorrow.
