Default My custom 3 3/4in short stick

I was alittle bored today so I went and cut up my lou's short stick that I had laying around(I bought an ebay one with extra threads and cut that to 5 1/2in which replaced the lou's awhile back). I decided to go short or go home. So I cut both the screw holes off the bottom of it all the way up to where the shifter was round and there was non of the flat part that sits flush with the shifter. I then grinded the side's flat so it would mount flush against the shifter and then drilled 2 new holes. All this got it to 4in then I cut about another 1/4in off the threads. Here's some pics.

Overall I'm very pleased It works flawlessly does't hit anywhere and its nice and short.

It looks too short, like you'd hit your hand on the console when you're banging gears. I like for the **** to sit a little bit higher but if you like it and it works well then that's all that matters.

I would hate that--too low...way too low...you must sit down low in the seat or you how really loooooong arms.

It works perfect. Every gear hits perfectly and it flows well. I rest my arm on the center console and my arm slops down and hand fall's right on the shifter, no moving my forearm up for the shifter handle its right there in my hand. In town its just a flip of the wrist and im in the next gear. Bang the gears Its perfect as well I've only went at it a couple times but its even easier than before. No misses shifts no hitting my hand on anything.

too short for my taste, I went with the 6.5 inch ws6store and that felt like just enough for my arm. I guess it comes down to the person driving the car.

I'm still amazed you can shift with a stick that short. Its almost as if the shift **** is right where it bolts to the shifter. Why even use the stick?

Im running the 6" WS6Store stick, and thought that was short enough. As long as it works for you, then thats what matters.

Bad angle, makes it look a lot shorter than it prolly is I love my short stick

BTW, take your console out next time you go to run it hard, makes it a lot easier to bang gears.

Damn that looks REAL short!!!

I have the Pro 5.0 and LSS combo and I've always been very pleased with it.
