Default Speedometer adjustment?

Well I got the T56 on a 2000 trans-Am. I got the car with an aftermarket diff and it feels to be the wrong ratio. I did the math with the speedomter and it seems to be that I have a 3.73 in there. Now I tried to use the Diablosport prgrm to fix that but it seems to have no effect. Who knows if there is another way to adjust the speedometer or is there a gear connected to the cable on the Tranny? Any ides would help alot. Thanks.

Maybe if you would have posted this in the right section you would have gotten a better response. With that sarcastic attitude I'd be supprised if anyone helped you.

well as far as the post location, I do belive the speedometer readings are originally generated in the tranny. And sorry for you oversensitave homos that are actually insulted by a you could and drown and I hope your car fishtails into a lake filled with aids. But I do apologise for thinking that some actually had a sense of humor.
Yeesh.

If it helps I swapped a T56 for my 4l60e and had the speedo programmed by HPTuners at a shop. All that had to be done was to put in the rear end ratio and the computer does the rest. So I know its not that hard and HPTuners has the ability.

Yeah I Looked Into Fixing It Via Software, But I Already Had The Diablo Sport And It Seems To Have A Tick That Keeps It From Working The Right Way. Bottom Line I Programmed Through The Tire Size (another Thread From Another Post) And It Seems To Be Working Out Really Well. Thanks Though, Your Right. Software Is The Way To Do It.
