Default Mater Cylinder Hydralic Line Question

Can the line be cut and extended? For a swap i'm working on, the factory line isnt long enough. I was wondering if it was normal stainless line where i could cut it and use an fitings.

McLeod makes fittings that fit into the stock master and stock slave so you can use -4an line. Only disadvantage is you loose the quick disconnect, but you will be able to use any length line you need.

Well its a LT1 so it doesnt use the quick disconnect. Any idea on a part number or where to look them up? McLeod's site isnt working right now.

Might just wana call McLeod up and see what they have to offer. A lot of their parts are not listed. They might have something to help you with the LT1 stuff.

Any competent industrial hydraulic hose company will be able to cut the hose and install an AN fitting in place of the stock fitting that goes in the MC. Once thats done you can use a AN to An union and add as much line as you need. Thats how my line is done in my RX7.
