Ram clutch question
Bought this new clutch on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33655
said it was good to 375hp, after I bought it I looked on the website and it says no modifications
I have K&N CAI, Magnaflow catback, tune and the little intake mods, like the TB bypass and airfoil. I want to do 3.73s and maybe rockers down the line with valve springs.
If I put this clutch in am I just going to cook it or do you guys think it will be okay?

bump, I felt slipping but now it seems to be okay and as far as I know it is the original clutch (just turned 99,000) I think it will be fine for atleast 20,000 miles.

Ram makes an excellant clutch. 95% of all clutch problems are because of the install. The previous owner of my car installed a Ram HD without the shim behind the slave. Forcing the clutch to not fully engage and thereby wore out in 8000 miles. I bought a new one and properly installed it and its doing great 500 miles later. You should be fine, I would call up ram and see what kind of shim you need if any.
