Unhappy Frustration!!!

I have never been so confused on what to buy in my entire life. Ive read this forum up and down trying to find the right clutch. My car is stock and will be for a while, it has 27k miles on it. Im not the type who goes to the strip every weekend, but i want something rugged enough to take some abuse if i feel like it. Someone with experience please lead me in the right direction. Im sorry for the repost. it seems every clutch thread breaks out into mass confusion. I dont want to spend more than $700 if i can help it.

If your car is going to stay relatively stock for the most part, then go with a LS7 clutch with an LS2 flywheel. Seems to be a pretty reliable setup and can take some abuse, all while maintaining a stock pedal feel.

Another vote for the LS7 set-up. I have it & am very happy with it.

Give a call or email to some of the sponsors on the right.... Being in Texas, try TSP, SDPC, Thunder racing....shipping would be quick.

The more important queston could be who installed it and did they do it right? I heard a 50/50 mix of good an d bad with spec. The price range for spec was better for me at the time. Got 15,000 on the clock and no problems, MTI did the work. A little pricey for the install? Sure, done right yes, problems No.

I give a vote for Ram HD powergrip, can handle real power and also gives you real clutch pedal feel!
