Default Textralia

I just wanted to say I've been having issues with my clutch for a good while now. I've been talking with Peter over in Australia and I must say they give the best customer service I've ever received. I haven't found the problem yet but my clutch does engage better then before.

I must say even though I've had issues with my Textrallia I would still buy another one over any other clutch on the market. Textrallia has great customer service. Peter and Jared are great guys and will take car of your needs.

I am having trouble with mine atm, it is not fully disengaging and it engages really close to the floor. Is this the same problem you are having? It's not my hydraulics as I have bled it until all the air was out and the whole thing had new fluid, also all bolts were torqued to spec with red loctite on them, so I dont think the bolts are backing out either.

What was your install ?

What Text did you get? OZ700 ? exo?

Shim ? No shim?

(Most important question for me) Did you replace your slave?

If so...what slave did you have before this new one you just put in?

Just the stock 2002 slave?

It was recommended to me to replace the (01-02) slave even though it's only been used for 2 years in my car??!!??!!

Marketing?

i have been looking into a textralia clutch as well, and have read a few times that all hydraulics should be replaced when the clutch goes in.

is that true?

Sounds to me like yall really need to check your throwout bearing to pressure plate air gap, i'm pretty sure they told me no more 0.060 , with optimum being 0.040-0.050! If this is incorrect then it will burn ur clutch up quickly and also be cuasing disengagment, engagment issues! Hope this helps!!!

We deal with TONS of cars that have Textralias with clutch disengagement issues. The clutches themselves are awesome, but generally the factory hydraulics aren't up to the task.

Check out our Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder kit guys - it flows more fluid than a stocker and will solve every disengagement issue you're experiencing.

Default Hydraulics

Joey, you make a good point. I think that a lot of aftermarket clutches are blamed for the weakness of the factory hydraulics.
