Default mild vibration and nosie when in neutral or with clutch in...

my T56 got a new clutch put in when i bought it (free labor and included warranty).
it is dual friction kevlar (custom built by a reputable clutch builder in tampa).

i have a mild "chattering" noise in neutral and thus mild vibrations.

is there a potential problem there or is that normal.

btw. what is the definition of clutch chatter?

Was the pressure plate & flywheel balanced as an assembly prior to installation? Has the clutch been through the proper brake in sequence & mileage?

everything balanced and flywheel resurfaced.

it is nothing bad, i probably overexaggerated it a little.

its perfectly fine in gear though. no issues. and it is totally broken in.

Since it's balance & broken in, then I'd say it's just the disks kissing either the flywheel or the pressure plate when in neural or w/ the clutch pressed in. Mine has done the same thing from time to time.

that is a good description of the situation as it is also intermittant. (which i probably should have previously stated).

thanks for the help and reassurance.
