The GM unit made adjustable is better. There is not much in the way of options out there. The stock ones, the stocker made adjustable or the McLeod thats it.
The McLeod is known to be problematic, but have the capability for increased fluid flow.(bigger bore)
Get an adjustable stocker or a stock one & convert it to be adjustable yourself.
search there are threads on it.

DOH! Ya once again ther is only the stock GM & a an aftermarket knockoff.
Then there is mcleod once again that makes a upgraded slave.
But I have seen stock GM replacement pieces work just fine.

Supposedly theres only one manufacturer of slaves including the GM supplier. Find it as cheap as possible. I went with the one from advance for 69 bucks and its holding my ram HD powergrip + 425 rwhp for the last year or so.

I would only replace the slave with an actual GM. Trust me, I replaced with an aftermarket one and 200mi later the car was back up on jacks dropping the tranny and replacing the blown aftermarket pos.

I'm pretty sure they're all exactly the same no matter where you get them.

I can tell you that the aftermarket one and the OEM GM one had different casting marks. And my GM is still working great.
How many of you have replaced with an aftermarket brand slave and how many miles do you have on it?
