Default Ram Twin Disk Clutch System

Has anybody used the Ram twin disk clutch system yet? I wasn't able to find much of anything in the search function. My cousin's 402 just shreaded a almost new Ram Powergrip HD clutch (We used the Ram billet flywheel at the same time) on the dyno after the very first pull. He has to drive his car very, very gently right now to keep from going into massive clutch slippage.

I'm running the RAM DD clutch in my 403. It's a great clutch! No chatter, smooth engagement, no grabiness, etc. It does rattle some when disengaged but I think that's typical of DD clutches. A lot of moving stuff. I haven't found a downside with this clutch. I use a Cartek adjustable master cylinder with it in the C5.

I have one as well. It is an awesome clutch. Very light pedal feel, easy to drive, and no feeling of slippage whatsoever. Like WKMCD said, there is some noise at idle when it's disengaged, but that's just part of having a twin disc. If your buddy gets one, he will not be disappointed.

I have one and I just smoked it after 7000 mi. I think the pressure plate gave up on me. up untill now it worked great.

Pulling the clutch out next weekend

Ram needs to stand behind their product a little though, they don't want to do anything but take your money.

Did you use their adjustable clutch master cylinder?
