Clutch Experts, Help!!!
So this guy is selling me his spec 3 clutch, witch was used for about 5,000 with no passes and no abuse according to him. From looking at the pics what can you see. The PP still has grooves. What's the dept of the disk grooves suppose to be? Anyone know? Any help will be app.[IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

buying a used clutch is like change oil then put used oil filter.
why????
unless you wanna do clutch swap again in like two day
if you going through all the trouble to get to clutch, why not just buy brand new one!!!
that is just me, the brand new ls7 clutch with everything you need don't cost that much.

well, spec 3 is 6 puk design
so the disk is either 1 or 2.
and the pressure plate and flywheel got too much hot spot in it. it could be out of spec.
it just looks like head ache

This is correct and its not a STG3+ either . It looks like a well worn stg 1 disc and pressure plate . I wouldn't give him more than $75.00 and thats only if I needed to to get by and was broke off my azz .
Do yourself a favor , shop around for a good deal on a new SPEC clutch and you won't even have to question it .
