Default T56 Problems

I have no clue wtf is wrong with my car. Originally, clutch broke and broke slave cyclinder in the process. Kinda had to force the car into first and rev match gears to limp the car home for a couple hundered miles, just stopped to get gas. Put a new clutch and slave cylinder in, everything was fine for a few weeks.

As I'm driving back to NC, 1st and second just 100% randomly stop working. Got to a stop light, couldn't get out of first, or at the the 1-2 area. I haven't tried starting in second and leaving, but I doubt it would be different. Plus the syncros for those gears all the sudden seemed fucked at the same time, grinds trying to put into either of those gears, even from a stop. I figured I just bent the shift fork/ruined the syncros forcing it into first when the clutch pedal stopped working. But it was fine for a couple weeks so i'm confused.

So for a couple weeks now I've been driving just using third (trans is an an 88 rx7) trying not to drive unless i needed to. Now I tried to go get some dinner and it left third fine, but wouldn't come out of 4th. Still will leave third fine and the roads i was on were to slow to try 5th, but I am completely lost here. Anyone have any clue what's going on with this damn thing? Is it something stupid like low trans fluid? We topped it off like 2 weeks before it started acting up, and I was told my problems wouldn't be caused by that, but I didn't check anyway.

Edit: Trans is out of an 02 WS6, Spec 3+ clutch, Spec Billet Steel Flywheel.

Took a spin to get a haircut and test 5-6. On the way there... wouldn't go into 6th, 5th worked fine. Didn't use 4th. On the way back. 3-6 worked fine. I'm confused.

Check for clutch drag, since you have a new one installed and your symptoms are all over the place.

i rebled the clutch and that didn't help at all. I don't think it's dragging, cuz it goes into every gear but 1st and 2nd at a stop. I dunno how to fix it if that is the problem though...

After all that was said, the only other thing that wasn't mentioned was the master cylinder. Maybe it has a slow leak to it. I just pulled mine out about 2 months ago cause of similar problems, just not nearly as bad. Replaced the master and all better now.

You guys think it's clutch related and not actually in the transmission? I don't understand why some gears would grind but others wouldn't if it's the clutch...

And I have a wilwood 1" master cylinder...

It sounded like you have the problem with all gears, but randomly. That points to the clutch or hydraullics. If the problem is repeatable in one or two gears, then you should look to a rebuild.

Sounds like a clutch issue to me as well . If you keep driving it like that , you will have transmission issues as well .
