well with the slicks i really dont know, its gonna take some practice launches to see where the car will like to be launched, but probaly between 4-5k, im guessing, and i dont really wanna go any bigger than a 200shot, im gonna start with a 100 and work my way up from there!

Let me get this straight: you have a heads/cam/intake/NITROUS car that you're going to be running slicks on and you don't want to spend a lot of money on the clutch? My advice, change your line of thinking. And buy a Textralia if you're sticking with a single disk setup.

Bingo. If you were just doing heads/cam/intake and not launching at a high RPM on slicks, you could probably get away with a C6 Z06 clutch and be fine but that clutch doesn't like high RPM launches. I'd stay away from RAM. Had bad experience with their clutches. Heard nothing but great things about Textralia clutches... My Spec was okay... but I wasn't beating on it like you plan on doing.

Textralia. You have powered yourself out of ALL other options.

Or you could go auto.

TEXtralia without a doubt! Mines been AWESOME for the 2.5 yrs and 20k+ miles I've ran it. It's the ONLY clutch I recommend people that plan on any kind of power at all. I've got a car in the shop for an install right now, and another scheduled later this month. It's a product I believe in.

go with the spec if not trying to spend more money . they will renew the pad for $150 and resurface the pressure plate for $75 more .

I love my RAM HD and it's taking one hell of a beating on my cam/spray car with dr's. Drives nice, grabs hard, I love it. Price is right too.
