Default I am fed up

I cant for the life of me get this damn clutch to disengage. I have replaced the Master, the Slave, the clutch and still cant get the clutch pedal to get any pressure. I bench bled it, I have done everything I can think of except the mighty vac. This car has been sitting for months, i want to drive it!

did you try an adjustable master? seems like you can get a little more push out of those.

I know your pain. Am currently in the same situation. the mcleod adj. master isn't available until september. I have yet to replace the slave, so that and i new clutch are probably in order for me.

I have the mcleod sitting in my basement waiting to be re-built. Bought a OEM master for the time being and thing sucks. This is driving me nuts!

Rebuild your master, all you need is the cup from napa 12400 is the part number. It's only a couple of bucks. Bench bleed it again and your done.

Yep, I bought the part from NAPA for $1.50; they had 5 so I bought them all for future rebuilds.

I am having the problem with thier twin disk. I bought a used McLeod adj master from here. Hopefully that fixes the problem. It is frusterating for sure though. I am hoping that is the problem. From what I have read, go buy a used McLeod master and purchase the fix from Oriely's for a couple of bucks. No need to wait that long for the new McLeod to come out IMHO. Good luck.

Default spring???

i had the same thing awhile back and i'm guilty of beating the bullshit out of my car, but there is a spring under the dash for pedal return. if u ever found a broken spring on ur floor, i would check that. its about 7 bucks from the dealer. but since i'll never stop sidesteppin the clutch, i went to sears hardware and got a heavier one. it sucks when u already replace the slave and realize this spring is laying under ur seat..........................

The spring is worthless and will just end up breaking again if you replace it. The clutch will be fine without it. He's probably got air in the master. Disconnect the fitting from the slave and try and push the clutch pedal. If it moves your master is bad or has air.

If there's no clutch pressure, there's air in the system, try the mityvac, it literally sucks the bubbles out.

We're gonna need more details on the symptoms if we're gonna help you out, OP. Be specific about the issue and what's happening.
