Default Clutch sticking to the floor in 07Z06

Just put a Spec 3 plus single in my 07 Z06 and when power shifting it sticks to the floor and pops back up a second or two after I release the clutch.

Any thoughts ?

Theres a sticky at the top of this section about this but basically, change the fluid and bleed the system.

Agreed, sounds hydraulic to me too. Just follow the info in the sticky and go from there. Let me know if you have any further questions! Thanks!

I'll check it out. Do I just keep taking all the fluid out, adding more, pumping the pedal about 50 times and do this again and again ?

Thanks for the help guys

That can help, but actually bleeding the system at the slave & moving clean fluid into the whole system is much better IMO.

I was told the tranny had to be removed to get it all out ?

A remote bleeder and a might-vac can really work wonders. If you have checked the fluid did you notice if it was dark or discolored at all? If so then that es evidence of over heating and the need for a flush and refill. A higher grade, higher boiling point fluid can work wonders. So too can wrapping the hydraulic line that goes from the master to the slave with a heat resistent material. Last but not least, make sure the line is routed properly behind the heat sheild near the headers as this is the most common location of excessive heat and thus aeration. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks!
