Not a Great Day
Today wasnt the greatest day, 1 of my VERY good friends, and my best friend moved today to California. Me and my buddy have been friends FOREVER, my dad and his dads were friends in grade school, and we have always been together. I knew it was coming but i couldnt believe it, but today it happened, and i honestly cant believe it. It took a while after he left but i finally broke down, it sucks that someone that u say as family as a brother, leave and move all the way across the country. The reason he is going is because he wants to be a music producer and he got a transfer out there from his job, so it was a good time to go. I just hope he doesnt forget about me and all that ****. Sorry guys, its just hard, my family moved away 3 months ago, and now my best friend, it just seems like everyone is leaving..Its really a shitty feeling..
I know im a pus..

Sorry to hear that....
Unfortunatly though, this seems to be the way life works. I've recently had someone very close step out of my day-to-day life. It's hard, a lot harder than I thought it'd be; and it takes some time to feel OK again. We all meet people that we think we'll be friends with forever, but life gets in the way. Times change, people change, and the world changes. It happens to all of us.
Luckily though, there is something that life can't take away from us. It's called good memories. Every close friend in your life will leave plently of these for you to enjoy over the years. Nothing like looking back at a moment or an era in your life that brings a smile to your face. This is what good friends do for us. They leave a lasting, positive impression that stays with us for a lifetime.
Now have a stiff drink and you'll start to feel better in no time.

jake man, don't worry. 4 years ago I dropped everything and went to amsterdam, I left my friends, family, town, all my old past times. I honestly thought it was going to suck when we left. it turned out to be the best experiance of my life. look to the future and good things WILL happen.

I did that to my best freind , met a woman in Illinois who eventually became my wife and I've been up here ever since . I'm sure your friend won't forget you , I haven't forgotten mine .
