hahaha they have only called the police on me once thus far. Apparently your not supposed to start up your 79 Trans Am at about 3 in the morning right after you get done installing some long tubes. But yea they must love me now, I go out and start it up at about 5 in the morning everyday and let it run for about 10 minutes before i leave for work.

Nice truck! Gotta love the 7.3! They make great power, get good mileage, sound great and are reliable...unlike the 6.0 If you don't already know, there is a recall on the cam position sensor on the 7.3. That was a long running TSB, but just recently became a recall. That's really the only prob. with the motor...it's a 20 min. fix too. If I could find another nice 7.3 Powerstroke I would gladly sell my '06 6.0 Powerstroke. Great truck, i'm jealous!

just took it in to the dealer today for that recall. The other day when I was testing the off road capabilities, it stalled on me a few times. So i went to powerstroke.org and it listed that recall. the dealer said it would be like a 4 hour wait. I'm like how about you give me the part and i'll change it myself cuz it takes like 2 minutes. They didnt go for that, so i have an appointment friday. oh how i hate currie motors.
