Caravan to Wis. Dells. for car show in May I know theres a big car show in the dells....i went last year i cant remember what its called, i think its in like May? I was going to try and get a bunch of people to caravan up there together, i think itd be a good time. Let me know what you guys think.

Usually 99% old cars at the actual show, lots of nicer new cars cruisin the strip all day though.

I'll be cruisin up there with a couple of friends. It was a blast last year. I guess two years ago they would have huge burnout shows during the night and the cops there didn;t give them too much **** but last year there was a cop every 50ft or so on the side of the road and they'd pull people over if they gave it even a little. I asked one of them if I could give it a little rev when I left because I know the people on the side of the road watching the cars leave would like it, but he said, "only if you want the ---- ticket" (I forgot exactly what it's called but it was around $400). Cops are big dicks there.

ya i was there the last 3 years, and the cops have really cracked down, but last year i met up with about 10 other cars and we took it out of the town limits a buit, and had some fun, im from gurnee, illinois, and will be going again this year, lets get something started.

The last 3 years they've really been cracking down. I wasnt there last year, but the previous 2 the cops were cracking down big time. 4 years ago when i was there we would sit on top of the big hill by the Mt. Olympus theme park and cars would stop on top and do huge burnouts. The road was backed up so far you couldnt see the end of it, which is probably why they're cracking down. I'll see if i can find some pictures from 4 years ago

Mac - That show at Circuit City in Gurnee last year was sick. (If that's the one you're talking about) The guy who runs those shows is on this site and has a whole list of dates this year where ther'll be big *** shows like that. Ferraris, McLaren, I couldn't believe that show at such an odd location, lol.
Screamin - If I get an f-bod by then I'm all up for it. You still got your 99 or did you get that Supercharged one you were talkin about?

I have gone the last 3 years. 1st year was a blast, then it got worse and worse. Still a good time no matter what though. I will def. b going. But lost my license so I may be riding in my bro's GT35r evo. Thing moves out. Should be fun.

to the dells? im not sure my man, this will be my first time being the driver, and taking my formula, i just mapquested and it says shortest distance is about 2 hours 40 minutes, but meeting up in gurnee works for me

Yeah I was just wondering because if everyone shot up I90 thats right on my way I live near belvidere so I figured id jump in somewhere along the way and ride up there for a few hours and drive back

It was quite a sight, the Mustangs were all parked together, Vette's, Camaros/Trans Ams, Ricers even had their own group, lol.
Very well put together. Were you part of the group of f-bods and a mustang who stayed late and then drove off down Grand/Rollins just messin' around the whole time? I was with a friend in his Grand Cherokee and we just followed you guys cause you were spinnin tires and everything, it was really quite cool.

This is the way we will be going, so maybe my crew can meet you guys near Madison? Just found out my buddy's bring out his H/C 396 '96 SS. Last year we raced and it was pretty much dead nuts, but he had a 250lb dude slowing him down as well as a ton of luggage. This year we're both faster so who knows.
