Damn you guys make me feel old.I went through there back in '87.Been back a few times since,mostly for training.I doubt any of the old dogs that trained me are still there.

I too went to Basic in 87.. Alpha 5/1....! Just returned from Afghnistan back in Sept.. I was a DI @ Sill years ago... 1/40, 1/19... I'm an old 1Sgt now..

I have a 99 1le car. It has heads cam and 150 shot of nitrous. I just had a rock-on level 5 installed. It also has a moser 12 bolt. Mine has also sorta turned into a race car.

I used to be stationed at Benning. I got out when I got back from Iraq and moved to Mobile. I do have good news for you though. Some friends and I started a car club in Columbus and it is still going strong. We lost the board for about two weeks but it is being rebuilt as we speak. Check us out at www.street-machines.org

There are still some bugs in the system but they are getting worked out. The guys normally get together about once or twice a month but alot of impromptu meets and mod parties spring up quite a bit. Also, you might want to check out Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds, GA. Very nice track.
