Good thing youre looking at civilian jobs 6 months before you get out (if you choose to). No offense but thats why I didnt get married in the Army. I felt like if I was and had kids I couldnt afford to get out thus forcing me to re-enlist.

i'm out in 7 days!this "war" isn't the way it used to be. it used to be fun to shoot at haji. now you have to think twice before pulling the trigger. thinking twice can cost you or your buddies life. not cool with me

or how about, if u do pull the trigger cuz your life is in danger you get in trouble!!!!
but yeah man having a wife and kids it is hard! but like most of us parents, we gotta do what we gotta do to give our kids a good life!! so ill probably have to re-enlist!! plus i dont have my degree either.

Got about 2.5 years left of a 6 year AF enlistment. Still a long way out, but I don't plan on re-enlisting and I'm still waiting on words for enlisted forceshaping FY08. If AFPC gets some programs going, I'm out.

AF here and just re-uped in Aug. for 6 more years. Will put me at 16 years, and I am hoping with the new pres coming in things will change for the better? I am over the hump (10 years) and it went fast. Hopefully the last 10 years will be just as fast? I still enjoy my job, and I have a family as well so this helped make some of my disision but very little. Follow your heart and make the disision that is right for you.
