60 - 140 mph acceleration in my GTO

My converter is way loose. It flashes to 5500. I'm getting ready to do a th400 swap into the car so hopefully I will gain a lot more power and have a larger curve to play with.

I would think the 400 would take more power away from you. As far as the larger power curve I really don't know how the th400 compares to the 4l65.

You can turn off the overspeed alarm. It was one of the first things I did with my GTO. I forget right now how to do it, but I know it's in the manual.

Yeah it's definately different a stick..lol. I think it's starting to slip a little. You can't feel or hear it change gears. It's like a constant, very hard pull till it tops out.
