Default Start up vids of my 408ci F1A car

Well after 7 months after a tour from Iraq, my old man having a heart attack and several issues with fitment etc. (all created by me customize'n nothing procharger did) I finally got it running. Thank you F-Body Central of Maryland.
Finally got rid of my POS STS kit, hopefully make some good numbers this year.

Dyno numbers this week or next if the stock trans holds up. This are literally the initial start up vids, so some bugs need to be worked out still.

**** man, stock trans? I'm suprised just being in the vicinity of a motor capable of that much power didn't frag it.

Should see some nice numbers though! Congrats!

Pretty sweet man. Any info on the setup? How does the F1-A do for clearance down there? I don't see how anything bigger than my D1 can fit! Good luck with it!

It saw 550 - 700hp with the STS system. So I know the day is coming. Just gotta be careful until I can get my GForce trans.

It's snug. I did custom pipe'n because I don't like how it came. So I ran into issues... observe:


I had to have something custom made. It comes with a piece of plastic, but that didn't work for me with my set-up because of a remote oil filter.


As far as the set-up, my mod list is as long as my arm. Basically an ARD Iron Block 408, low compression, AFR heads, F1A intercooled blower.

15 psi. I hit that before with boost creep on the STS kit, so it should be ok. Motor was built for it, just hope the heads stay on and are kind to me.

Thanks for the pics, that is snug. I'm sure your heads will be fine as long as you have studs, which I'm sure.

New setup is sick man. Not sure if you remember me but I ran into you on 408 when you where in Orlando a few years ago and you put my poor LT1 to shame . Looks like you upgraded the skittle to a vette...nice upgrade! So I'm guessing you never moved to Orlando?

Wow man! Yeah I remember you! I was on my way back from the Fuel **** corner. No I never moved to Orlando, couldn't find a gig then I met a new chick lol. I WANT to move down there eventually, but all I find is jobs in Tampa.
Hopefully this will run just as well with half the headaches of the STS kit.
