Cammed The Goat! *Video Inside*
We swapped cams in my car on Saturday. We made a few adjustments on the tuneup to get the car driving decent. Big thanks to all my friends who helped with the install! Really looking forward to warmer weather, getting the tune lined out, and getting back to the track! Car is filthy! We havent had a day above freezing in a few weeks now, and theres snow and salt everywhere. I cant wait to wash this car again!
This past season, I went 12.29 @ 114.76 with headers and exhaust. In all honesty, Ill just be ecstatic to drive this car into the elevens as it sits now. I feel like thats a pretty realisitic goal, so.. Im going to aim my ultimate goal a little higher. The Cam Only - Six Speed Record for LS2 GTO's is an 11.63 @ 118. Im going to aim for beating that, and see where I land!
Cam is a Vengeance Racing VRX5. 236/238 601/605 113LSA. Running through Pacesetter Longtubes, and into a Spintech Catback! Let me know what you guys think!
Out with the old!
In with the new!

My sixty was a 1.787.
The car weighed 4040LBS, with me in the car, on stock seventeen inch wheels, quarter tank of fuel and nothing removed from the car.
I removed the front skid plate at the track. I also left the passenger, and rear seats at home. I figure the front seat weighs around 70LBS, and the rear seats about 40LBS for both sections combined. Skid plate should be good for about 15 off the nose. Im not sure what my wheels weigh, but I know my 18s are heavier than the stock wheels, so add that to the plus column. Im 300lbs myself. I figure race weight to be around 3900LBS!
