Default Electric car goes 11.55 @ 110.7 mph

Great vid, there's alot of info about electric cars and this one is undefeated and fast (so far) and it's an old Toyota.

******' awesome. Just awesome. Thing is, it must be pretty inefficient to need a recharge after every run. Regardless, it's fast as hell and I'd like to know what he 60s.

About not polluting.. I wonder where they're electricity is coming from. If it's hydro, cool, but coal plants puff out smoke like it's going out of style.

Camouflaged to look ordinary?

That car moves out, but the trap is really low for its ET.
The other thing that they don't address is that the car runs those times partially because it ways so little. The only problem with that is electric motors aren't light with all the batteries they need.

It's a Datsun (Nissan) Jay...

wow. that's downright impressive how that car leaves. So I just wanna know, if that thing gets on a dyno, what kind of torque is it gonna make?

Reason for the low trap speeds; electric motors make gobs of torque down low like a diesel but have very low HP numbers.

I think with the right gearbox that thing would have a much higher trap speed. Pretty cool! Wish more people would do stuff like that!
Kinda confused as to why he only made up .4 seconds after ditching 700lbs and gaining a claimed 100 more hp.
More info/specs would be nice.

I was just thinking the same thing. I'd love to see a dyno graph of this thing, peak torque off idle would be sick!

I also don't see why he needs someone else to drive it to these times. It looked like he just stabbed and steered it after the burnout, looks really easy to drive.

Looks like the electric car was the only one with slicks.
