Obviously I love TA's but..
I love GM, obviously, but the owner was pretty confident to say the least at first. Just a little back ground, there is a local forum here that is fast/late model and clean car oriented, most have 500+HP, all the way through 1200ish. The guy in the T/A saw one of our guys Evo tag said V8 EATER and was extremely confident, and cocky about whopping him that he bet $200 on it.

In his defense, he was a lot cooler after the runs. Nice guy!
EDIT: For reference the EVO makes about 580WHP, the Integra made 714WHP running out of fuel so it was backed off to about 675WHP.

Also, keep in mind most of this is all in fun. If someone can take some punches, they are cool in my book.

I never put my foot in my mouth, just because you have a 408 car, doesn't mean you're king of the street. Plus, as we all know... there will always be someone faster

i feel bad for the guy in the trans am, what a shame, he really never should have raced it from a dig haha that was a big mistake, TRUST i'd like to come down in a few months and race my ta against yours, think it would be fun

yea like mentioned just because you got the big V8 doesnt mean you can go taking on EVO & ****..... if your going to go from a dig BETTER have some good tires. because it looked like he was spinning.... would of lost if he had traction. but it would of been a better run.

Mods on the T/A. Also again, like Rob said, all in good fun, the guy was a good sport after the fact and paid up which is extremely respectable. That redeemed himself alone in my book.
