I was thinking about picking one of these up. How is that mounted on the side of your brothers car, and how secure does it feel. I wanted to put it on the side of my car when Im at the drag strip, but was worried that it might fly off.

Its the motorsports kit and it comes with a suction cup mount thats adjustable. It is in fact my car, it was just my brothers camera I re-typed my first post to make it more clear hehehe. I seems very stable, as you can tell we jumped on the highway for just a little bit and it held on fine. It was actually kind of hard to pull off even with the suction cup pressure released.

How did you get most of the wind noise out of the video?? That's a HUGE pet peeve of mine... That and camera noise.

That's a great price for that setup! I thought it was gonna be around $1000. Bonehead question, but does that come with the camera?

Those things are really stable, had one on a friends car when we did a race up to 165-170ish and it stayed put. I'm curious how you eliminated the windnoise too.

That is very cool! I am also curious on the windnoise, it seems like that is almost inevitable of a camera outside moving at those speeds.

motorsports kit comes with a clear plastic case that is desinged to eliminate most fo the wind noise which was a huge problem with the original go pro cameras. They seem to have it mostly figured out now. I def want one, only thing i hate is that there is no viewfinder, you pretty much have to hope to get it pointed right or your screwed.

Like itsslow98 said the hard case seemed to do a pretty good job at keeping the wind noise out. We didnt do anything special to prevent it.

We used the waterproof hardcase, that's all we use and ours still have windnoise above 60mph. Weird.
