It seems to pull a bit harder all over but the stall really ruins it for me. Can't tell if i'm making good torque because it's never in lockup under 55 so I constantly feel like i've got a slipping trans.

I am trying to trade my auto setup for a manual setup right now. The auto is really fast and much better for the track but I don't race.

I went to the track 1 time in the last 2 years and that was to get a baseline for the pre-cam. I was full bolt on's with the converter and went 12.4 @ 109 on street tires with a 1.6 60ft. I haven't been back to the track since the cam install but I feel like it's a top 11's car now.

Car sounds good! I bet it would do pretty well at the track being a stalled cammed auto.

I think you would like the auto if the trans was tuned right.

It's not the trans friend. It's the converter and short gear combo...3200 converter and 3.23s need too many revs for around town driving.

Some times. It spends 99% of it's time in town though either way.

When I was looking at goin auto in my TA I was being advised to go with a 3600 & 3.73 gears since I daily drive mine so much. This stall/gear combo seems to be a great ET runner & all around driver from everything I read.
