Funny vidz... kid lying out his **** about a Grand Prix SE I was at a Grand Prix mod day this past weekend w/my 04 ... well this kid shows up to get his strobes installed (yes he already had neons and a fart pipe) ... this was an SE ... a 3.1L ... he was stock all the way down to the air box and filter! all he had was the fart pipe ... I checked but didn't see any nitrous plumbing...
when he showed he said his car ran 10s... so having the video camera I took it upon myself to find out all about his car
Summary here of his mods- it runs 11.5@130 at Rt. 66 on a high profile RSA (and he's never been booted for not having NHRA safety equipment), 13.5 on motor, 11.5 on a 100 shot of nitrous and methane. It has a viper motor in it (despite the 3100 intake) and the back end gets squirly when he guns it... (still FWD). It also has a transmission out of a factory supercharged camaro in it

The kid'z the one w/the gray sweatshirt and cap on... bunch of us were raggin on him and he didn't seem to get that we knew he was full of BS heh

at first we all thought the kid was just messin around... he showed up then left and that's when I got wind that he was tellin peops he runs 10s ... so 30 mins later he came back w/his strobes to be installed *gag*
so that's when the fun began heh... I walked over and asked him "so I hear this thing runs 10s" and he said "yea 10s low 11s" ... then the real fun began heh
The killer thing is he said it all w/a straight face... one of those vidz I'm pointing the camera right at him (and I had a big ole halogen camera light on too so it was like an interrogation) and he still proceeded to tell these wild stories!

He had to be kidding. Viper motor? While your staring at his engine, he said it was a Viper motor? He watched too much FnF, and now has some sort of brain tumor.

yup, i don't post a whole lot on clubgp though... too much bickering so I usually just stay in the 04 section ... read a few posts and such... I mostly hang on the local grand prix club board.

That is the cleanist install of a viper motor i have ever seen. And he was very smart to swap trannys they way he did. Cause those supercharged camaros from the factory are easy to find.

That guy is my idol! I always wanted a methane and nitrous injected 3100v6 with a supercharged transmission and could get the rear tires to get sidways, oh hell yeah!
