I raced a friend of mine when I had the Z28 still and I beat him 3 out of 3 times. But here's the kicker..... My Z28 was a Lid and catback, stock gear, stock stall, stock manifolds, stock LS1 intake, automatic LS1 with 141K miles on it.

I wanted to blame it on his driver mod, but one of the races I edged out in front of him (Thanks 315's) and after we were at about 40-50, I kept my 1-2 car lead on him without him reeling me back in.

I was kinda shocked myself. His car was absolutely bone stock M6 5.0.

Wow with a stock stall? With those mods, your car should have trapped around 106, thought the 5.0s trapped a little higher than that.
