I'd like to share my accomplishment of being the first 2013+ Viper owner to run 10s. I know the new Viper has caught a lot of negative magazine press from the limp-wristed pansy drivers that write those rags, so I wanted to share some actual results from someone who can drive a manual.

10.97 @ 127.94 w/ 1.67 60' - bone stock on 19" drag radials.

Very nice! Is the first video the actual 10 second run? If so did you hit the rev limiter a couple of times?

First actual 10-second new Viper, ever. The SRT engineers confirmed it. They only got their pre-production car to run 11.1 on drag radials.

It ran quicker when maxing out the rpm. You hear the limiter because I wasn't lifting the throttle much between shifts.

Something is wrong with the brake light switch. Dealer already looked at it, will get it replaced. It sometimes will flicker when I nail the clutch hard.

In good weather, with good driving, sure. They will go quicker than my 10.9, as there are still better drivers out there and better weather conditions possible.

lol, what did reviews bash about this new Viper? Gorgeous car if you ask me and awesome driving man, congrats! Thats fast any way you look at it and STOCK, wow....cars these days, sigh

Theres a 13 viper that went 10.80s at our local track, its white & got tons of signatures either on the inside of the decklid or hood. This car was at the track last year too but I don't know if it ran 10s then.

Congrats on the time, but I would think it would be capable of faster considering people have gone 10's on stock tires with the previous model?
