Default Video: Kooks 1 7/8" Headers with Classic Chambered Powersticks

Kooks 1 7/8" Long tube headers with 3" Short Classic Chambered Powersticks band clamped to the collector of the header. I did the install last Sunday with the help of a friend, with new engine mounts,spark plugs with wires,new oxygen sensors.

Sweet , sounds almost like mine.

Any idea if it ll sound different with a xpipe?

The powersticks definately take the sound a down a few dB from being open header to just perfect.

I'm sure if you had a before and after video you could hear a slight difference in sound tone, I've always known that the X-Pipe puts off a higher pitch sound at higher RPM's, the H-Pipe puts off a deeper sound. No matter what you will always know there's Chambered Powerstick's on the car. What do you have that it sounds almost alike?

Sounds good! My brother ran the chambered power sticks on his mustang and it sounded really good as well

I'm sure if you had a before and after video you could hear a slight difference in sound tone, I've always known that the X-Pipe puts off a higher pitch sound at higher RPM's, the H-Pipe puts off a deeper sound. No matter what you will always know there's Chambered Powerstick's on the car. What do you have that it sounds almost alike?
I ended up using my YPipe but cut it before it merged into one pipe and put 1 muffler on each pipe.
Basically its 2 separate pipes coming from each header and going into each powerstick.



Just wondering if i'm leaving anything on the table by not having a X or H pipe.

Since your exhaust isn't that long of pipe if anything is being left on the table its probably a 5hp gain from the cross over, the cross over may actually lower the sound level a few dB. I wouldn't change what you have.
