15's? Sorry driver, end of that story. I think it was Ken Miele(tech guru for MM&FF- aka "Yo" Ken) ran 14.08 bone stock in a 2013 ST and w/ 2 mods(d-pipe and tune), ran a best of 13.45 @ 105... now, if someone modifies one near you and still can't even keep up with the typical magazine driver(14.6//7), he or she is a bad driver. Altitude has almost no affect on these cars, since they essentially create their own atmosphere, so unless they're a bad driver or they just cannot get traction early enough, I see no legitimate reason they'd be so slow.

3200 pound 200hp Ford stock. per Cobb Tuning 270rwhp 335rwtq
4000 pound 300hp Pontiac stock. 360rwhp 380rwtq with bolt ons
100 pounds = .1
10 hp = .1
with the weight difference (800 pounds) the G8 is giving up the equivalent of 80hp. add in the weight of gas (fluid is heavy) on either car, then passengers and lack of passengers in either car. the G8 could be down equivalent hp by 100hp. so ya i'd say the video shows accurate. but from a dig, after hearing how bad that Focus spins at speed, the G8 would own it every time. include heads and cam and it would walk the Focus like its nothing. I love my G8, but i also like the Focus ST, i'd really like a 2-door ST!! as a commuter car.
On another note, seems these Focus guys are paying upwards of $3k to take there car from stock 220rwhp to 260rwhp for the stage 3. Imagine what $3k could do to an LS2!!

I also read this, after some looking around the COBB site: http://www.cobbtuning.com/Dyno-Database-s/70119.htm I have no idea what it costs, if they even sell that tune and parts pkg.
While considering that 3k, consider the G8 cost 10k(all day) more initially. Besides, to each his own. Your cool car came before the Ecoboost ST was ever available here and it's more... everything in the overall sense of a vehicle. The ST is a cool little car, but it needs an auto and AWD.

Thats the biggest difference, yes the cost of course, but the ST doesn't have as much seating area as the G8. they are, in a way, two completely different cars with different purposes. Load 5 people in each car and drive 8 hours one way, you'll find out really quick which car is preferred. But like mentioned, the ST cost is right and its a cool car that shows a big future performance modifications. FWD is not ideal, AWD would be awesome, but so would a 2 door version!!
