Default My 99 Z vs Lightning (DIG and ROLL)

Well here is a lil vid I just through together quick. The main reason for the vid was to get an idea how my car sounds under WOT, Anyway had fun. 1st race sucks because we ran into some traffic and had to back at about 60mph. Also, traction is a major issue and I'm on nitto drags. ENJOY I guess.

LETS SEE SOME REPLYS!!! I WANNA KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK

Very Nice. Do you have any track numbers on that setup yet? How do you like those Patriot heads? That thing scoots good once you hook.

No track #'s but got it dynoed today actually. Will post the vid and dyno sheet tonight or tomarrow. Ok #'s but the car was way lean and had a ignition miss and a bad 02 sensor. Here is a hint, still made over 400RWHP. Guess u will have to wait..

In the middle of getting my PCM reflashed. Just got it off the the dyno 2 hours ago. Never ran the 1/4 mile w/ the base tune from TSP. Will know roughly in 2-3 weeks what it can run in the 1/4.

DannoWS6 : About the patriot heads. Waiting on a full tune to see if I like the #'s and I guess I will have to see overtime if I like the heads. No problems yet and I have 200 miles on the car.

ON a lift, i have to set boards down and drive on them, not to big a deal at all. I have never rubbed the front valance or sides on driveways or speedbumps. The only thing I have rubbed, is the little plastic piece that pulls air into the radiator. Just so everyone knows, That is a factory kit on my car, came as a factory option in 1999. If it wasn't on the car when I bought it, it would not be on there. Don't get me wrong I like it, just think it would better at times w/ out, especially w/ skinnies and slicks.

Also, I am having trouble getting my dyno vid posted. It is 70,000 KB and I can't get any free host sites to work. I tried yousendit.com, rapidshare, streetfire, any other ideas? Vid is like 6 min. long. It was my first time at the dyno ever so I went overkill on the filming.
