The TrailBlazers are selling incredibly well still, and we love both of ours (sister has an '02 LS and mom has an '03 LTZ), but as awesome as the SS model is, I dunno how well it'll sell.

that was great!! The ss badge is as widely used as AMG or M or type-r for that matter.
does that trailblazer really have a blown ls2? I though i saw once a concept with a twin turbo inline six in a trailblazer pumping around 600hp...
looks great, wouldnt mind that for a daily driver!!

The days of Chevrolet slapping stickers and body cladding on a car and then branding it "SS" are OVER.
I know many don't think a FWD car or truck should have SS on it.... but why not if it's true to the SS heritage? Make it faster, handle better, brake better, sound better, and give it an agressive look.
If you look at the content upgrade of the new SSs, Chevy is true to that heritage.
LS2 in the Trailblazer SS and soon to be announced Colorado SS. 400hp in a Colorado. Talk about a kick in the pants when you floor it.
Impala and Monte SS get the 5.3 to take them to 303hp, using displacement on demand to get better gas mileage.
Even the Cobalt SS gets significant performance upgrades over the base coupe.

Colorado SS?? I remember seeing pics of a blue concept truck a few months ago. So are they bringing that one out? That would be an awesome Lightening/Ram SRT beater.
I'm going to wait for a new Camaro SS if and when they either build it or say it's truly not going to happen, before I get another performance vehicle. I'm still happy with my 99 Z for now.

It says on Chevy's website its AWD. Either the front tires are pulling, and not smoking, or they disconnected the drive-shaft that powers the front wheels.
