Photoshoot: 2000 ///M Coupe (56K NO)
Matt and I hit up downtown a little bit tonight. Snapped some shots of his car.
Before anyone says anything YES I know I have WB issues under flourescent lighting, but using tungsten doesn't work and I tried custom WB and nothing worked for me there either, so whatever I'll figure it out.
Here are the pics. 20 total. Enjoy.

Camera is a 300D (Digital Rebel). I shot on full manual mode.
As far as the shutter/aperature goes that varied from pic to pic considering I had to adjust according to lighting. Every picture I take I mess with photoshop and will either undo it if it doesn't do anything or keep it. Nothing major just usually hit them with auto levels/auto colors and sharpen if need be. I'm not into completely making a picture look unbelievable...doesn't look natural. I usually only photoshop when my pictures turn out a color I don't want them to be (red mostely). I need to play with the WB.
I never used to use pshop, but I have found that it's there for a reason because it makes a good looking pic even better looking. Most of the time auto levels/auto color don't do anything unless the levels/coloring is way off.
The car is quite roomy inside for as small as it is outside. There's more legroom in that car than in my TA.

I dunno I like to feel all that money in my hands, so I went with a camera that's bigger.

XT with a battery grip, solves everything. I shoot with the 20D and with my hands it felt to small, but with the grip it is AWESOME, helps counterbalance the weight when you have external flash and a telephoto lens on!

I didn't care for the limited space between the regular grip and the actual lens. Ah well I got my 300D for $605 shipped, so I saved quite a bit of money and I know this camera has tons of potential.
I'm still getting used to this camera. I've taken better shots with my old Canon Powershot G6.

oh, well for that price I don't blame you! dSLR's are tons of fun once you get used to em
nice pics too! you might be able to get a filter to rid the yellow instead of always changing the wight balance. I usually like the out-of-blance colors

I've used a D70 and maybe it's because I'm used to Canon controls, but I didn't like it. I've read a lot of reviews and I've found that it's not worth the extra money over the 300D.
